Google Announces Fix for a Major Android Auto Navigation Problem

One of the most appealing features concerning Android Auto is the support for voice commands. in many ways, this feature is perfectly logical.

The command that was used to start the navigation feature on Android Auto no longer worked because the app recognized the request, but was unable to launch Google Maps.

The issue was reported across a broad range of Android phones and also in various automobiles, an issue with the software that was related to the voice commands feature within Android Auto.

Google came up with a solution in the middle of this month, stating that users should upgrade to the latest version of Google application to receive the fix.

Google's Google application is the one that powers Google Assistant in both the mobile device as well as Android Auto, so all modifications that relate to this feature are made via immediate updates.
