Most of you get error “Unable to connect FTP server “ with File Manager 2 in GoogiePanel however as per our technical team’s statement there is no fault in system at all. This error usually occurs when you update incorrect or improper DNS records.

Double Verify:

In this case all you have to do is you domain name is active and properly accessible or if you are using your own custom domain name then check updated name servers in your domain’s controls panel. Make sure your Name server point to

  • ns1.googiehost.com
  • ns2.googiehost.com
  • ns3.googiehost.com
  • ns4.googiehost.com

And allow 48 hours for the propagation.

Check warning messages:

Before creating forum’s support request please login to your control panel and make sure there is no such a warning for your account. We have noticed that these accounts usually get error ”

  2. PLease note that we are from a News House and using your Hosting Service where Our domain’s nameservers are pointed to your nameservers, But it still doesn’t connect to FTP, and says the server refuses the connection. It is able to resolve the IP address and even if we try to enter it directly it still doesn’t work.
