How to upload website using filezilla

There is no rocket science needed to upload your website with FileZilla or any other FTP client using your FTP credentials, you have have to follow simple steps and you could get your website online within 5 minutes for no cost at all.

Download and Install FTP Client: First of all you will need to download FileZilla or any other ftp client software on your system and install it correctly. After installing FileZilla on your computer run it as administrator for the first time.

Find FTP Details: Now you need ftp account details to access your hosting account’s file directories using ftp client. For this go to control panel’s dashboard and click on FTP Access it you redirect you on another page with your account details. If you are using GoogiePanel then you need to change pass of your ftp account but for cPanel you can access with your default password.

Access your web directory: In filezilla select Site ManagerHow to upload website using filezilla from file tab and now here you will get fields to enter your ftp account details. If you do not have defined port number then leave as it is but fill other details like Server IP or Domain name in Host, Select Logon Type= Normal then it will ask you for the user name and password as well.

After providing all the details click on connect button, it will take few seconds to retrieve your web host directories. Here you can upload your files or website to make your website live.
