First of all I would like to say sorry to all of you for being busy from the last 2 months as there was some issues, now we decided to be with you at least 2 hours every day.
Well lets come to the point as myou know many of you facing issues accessing your website files with FTP details, Our team investigated and monitored FTP server and we found that some of our servers goes down dues to some resources issues. At this time no one can access their website files with FTP Client or File Manager 2 because File Manager 2 is based on FTP.
How to know your FTP Server is down ?
Its simple if you are able to access your website on the browser but unable to connect FTP then there are 30% changes that FTP server of your account is down, in this case it may take upto 24 hours to make your FTP server live again.
Scenario 1: If you are using FileZilla as your FTP client then you may aware that they have added few new features few days back, in this case you may not able to connect with your website hosted on GoogieHost as our FTP is doesn’t Support SSL and filezilla by default set on “Use explicit FTP over TLS if available” in encryption option and in this case all you have to do is change it to “Use only plain FTP (insecure)” now try to connect with correct FTP login details.
Scenario 2: This is one of the most common issue while you are using your custom domain name at GoogieHost, some of you don’t wait after changing their name servers to us, if you recently updated your DNS then kindly wait for at least 24 working hours. Make sure that you have updated correct name server which are
Scenario 4 (FTP Alternative): If you have tried these methods and everything is fine that means FTP server is unavailable or down for the moment, you will have to wait for some time (Usually 24 hours). But if want to upload your website on your Free Hosting account then you can use our Import Website feature under Website Section
This method is already explained by one of our user UniWon here: https://googiehost.com/forum/thread-265.html
Scenario 5 (File Manager): This is not any issue actually we have 2 File Manager and first one (File Manager 1) is works fine most of the time however you can not upload file more than 8MB. If you have large file then you may split them or try Scenario 4 which accepts 100mb file.
Note: We do understand your problem and we are trying our level best to fix these issues soon as possible for you however there is no fixed date or time to commit.
PLEASE DO UNDERSTAND AND BE WITH US… 🙁
